Text Box: Happy Hiking
To all fellow members of the Cunninghame Group.
This newsletter is included with your winter programme and there are a few matters to note:
Firstly the A.G.M. is on Monday the 21st November and will take place at a NEW VENUE the Vineburgh Community Centre. This centre is on the junction of Caldon Road and Woodlands Avenue in Irvine in the playing fields next to the Park Bowling Club. Hope to see you all there. The reason for this move is that there has been a steep rise in the council charges and the fact that we would prefer that all our meetings be held at one venue. This is not always possible when using council premises.
Text Box: A.G.M.

The committee plan to alter the format of the A.G.M. As per last year we will only have one person giving the annual report which will hopefully prevent repetition. The individual committee members of the group will be available to answer any relevant questions that arise. This hopefully will then allow more time for discussion of all aspects of the running of the club. Decisions arrived at will be dully minuted and acted upon by the committee.
Remember this is YOUR club and I’m sure that many of you have something which you would like aired e.g. suggested passenger contributions, the walk meeting place, different kinds of walks, more coaches or less, social events.
Please make the effort to come along and give your support - it is your club. I’m told tea coffee and scones will be provided.

Historical Walk in Glasgow

The planned historical walk in Glasgow. Given that this walk will take place in short daylight it will probably be better to eat in the People’s Palace Tearoom. Obviously this is a matter of personal choice, but eating outside may be a chillier option.
Text Box: Coach Trips

There are 2 coach trips in the winter programme:- Pitlochry and Peebles. Two great areas which offer walking at all levels. Remember if you have an area that you would like to try just let Christine know.
